As the world constantly changes, improves and  evolves, there are some organisations who keep track of the impact we are having on Earth and the environment.  One of these is CPRE, which coordinates a Star Count each year to help measure the amount of light pollution being caused by increase in human activity.

The task is to count the number of stars that you can see within the rectangle formed by the four corner stars of the Orion constellation.

All information about what to do and how to do it can be found on the CPRE website, (link below).

Until next time, Keep calm and apply some Science.
